Peter's career in finance began when he worked for the leasing division of a car phone group.  He left to form a leasing and finance company before, in 1988, founding Fineline Media Finance which developed into the largest specialist broadcast finance company in the UK, with a turnover of £45m a year.  In addition to funding groundbreaking equipment (it was the first company in the UK to finance Avid and Lightworks editing equipment) the company experienced 10 years of balance sheet and profit growth while he was managing director.  In 1998 he sold a majority stake to Five Arrows Leasing Group Limited (part of NM Rothschild & Sons).   In 2003, he sold his remaining shares.  He has wide experience and knowledge not just of finance but also of financial and business management, having managed many typical situations faced by growing businesses.  He established Azule in September 2004, bringing with him clients he had worked with for 17 years.  Married with two children, he is a licensed tennis coach. Emma Nelson, Managing Director, Azule Export FinanceEmma Nelson, Managing Director, Azule Export Finance

Emma has spent her entire business career in finance, working for leading banks and manufacturers including BNP Paribas, HSBC, Siemens Financial Service, Key Equipment Finance, CIT and Hewlett Packard.  She joined us in July 2009 from Sony where she was head of Sony's financial services, responsible for leasing and export finance throughout the EMEA region.  She has experience of working on deals in over 100 countries and understands how banks work and the regulatory framework within which they must work. She now runs our export finance business, advising clients on how to break into the export market, creating deals for clients with export orders and training businesses involved in exporting.  Outside work her young son absorbs most of her time but when she has the chance she particularly enjoys the cinema, wine and cheese.  Because of these indulgences she has to keep active - by horse riding (she used to compete but now rides for leisure), running, cycling and going to the gym.  She loves travelling, including backpacking.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
