Azule is run by Peter Savage and Gavin Scott who, between them, have over 30 years' experience in business leasing and finance.  Everyone in our team is exceptionally experienced in their own specialist areas.  They all are known for their clear, sharp thinking, efficient working and strong business common sense - and for being skilled at getting to know and understand you business and seeing it from your point of view.  Please get in touch with the person who specialises in your business area.  If you are in an industry which isn’t mentioned, please contact either Peter or Gavin.

Peter Savage, Managing Director

Peter's career in leasing and finance began when he worked for the leasing division of a car phone group.  He left to form a leasing and finance company before, in 1988, founding Fineline Media Finance which developed into the largest specialist broadcast finance company in the UK, with a turnover of £45m a year.  In addition to funding groundbreaking equipment (it was the first company in the UK to finance Avid and Lightworks editing equipment) the company experienced 10 years of balance sheet and profit growth while he was managing director.  In 1998 he sold a majority stake to Five Arrows Leasing Group Limited (part of NM Rothschild & Sons) and, in 2003, he sold his remaining shares.  He has wide experience and knowledge not just of finance but also of financial and business management, having managed many typical situations faced by growing businesses.  He established Azule in September 2004, bringing with him clients he had worked with for 17 years.  Married with two children, he is a licensed tennis coach. Gavin Scott, Sales Director

Gavin's first asset finance/leasing job was with Peter at Fineline Media Finance which he joined in 1998.  His natural aptitude for the business led to him becoming the leading UK broadcast salesperson before he was 25; he also built up a large portfolio of clients in Eire.  In addition to specialising in the broadcast sector he has specialist knowledge of the live audio sector.  Married with two young boys he is a keen Chelsea supporter and fan. Liz Barber, Operations Director
 
Liz joined Azule in June 2009 after a three year break from the leasing industry where she had worked for 18 years, including 12 years for the IT funder, Dana Commercial Credit, where she was a main UK board Director of Operations & Quality. She joined Syscap (an IT broker/funder) in 2000 as a Senior Manager and was responsible for the development of Syscap's in-house on-line web based trading system Syscap-Direct alongside managing all Sales Administration & Payout. Liz enjoys the ballet & opera, playing golf (well enough not to be an embarrassment to her partner), keeping fit, socialising and spends many hours on the touchline cheering on her very sporty 16 year old daughter and taxiing her and assorted friends to many parties! Rebecca Price, Manufacturer/Dealer Programme Manager

 Rebecca joined Azule in October 2008 after working for an IT software finance company. She is responsible for managing our manufactuere and dealer realationships and runs the Sony Financial Services Contract which is operated by Azule.  Before joining Azule she spent a year travelling around Asia and Africa taking some time out to support her partner who won a silver medal whilst rowing for team GB in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Jon Openshaw, Vendor Programmes Manager

Jon joined the Azule team in January 2010, bringing with him a vast knowledge of the asset finance industry.  With over 20 years' experience, he has specialist knowledge of developing and managing vendor programmes with leading banks and manufacturers including Barclays Bank, CIT, Siemens Financial Services, Lucent/Avaya, IBM and, more recently, the Sun Microsystems (UK&I) finance programme, which he managed for over seven years.  He is particularly skilled at building strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and resellers and knows that successful finance programmes can increase revenues and margins as well as secure and maintain customer satisfaction.  A big family man outside work (and driver the family taxi), he is often seen proactively supporting his two sons on the rugby field as a qualified coach (...and referee) as well as encouraging his daughter in the gymnastics hall.  A keen London Wasps supporter, he still believes he has convinced his wife that he has to accompany the boys during their ball boy duties on match days down at Adams Park, High Wycombe. Kerrie Hall, Sales Co-ordinator

Kerrie joined Azule in October 2009 after working for companies in the building, mobile phone and IT sectors, to name but a few.  With these organisations she gained knowledge of purchasing, credit control and project support.  This is her first venture into the world of finance and she has relished and enjoyed the opportunity to learn her new role.  Outside work, Kerrie is a huge fan of Manchester United; she is a member and her extensive knowledge of the English game can put any man to shame.  In her spare time she also enjoys meals out and going to the cinema.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
